Psychology

Anna is a registered Psychologist with a background in social work. Their approach to treatment is underpinned by the biopsychosocial model of health which conceptualises health and wellbeing through a complex interplay of:

  • Biological factors: impact of genetic vulnerabilities, neurocognition, physical health

  • Psychological factors: internal coping skills, mental health

  • Social factors: intersectionality, systemic influences

Anna is passionate about trauma-informed and Neurodiversity-Affirming approaches to therapy. They also prioritise collaborative work with care teams, schools, and other key supports for clients.

Anna has experience supporting clients with a range of presenting challenges including post-traumatic stress disorder, violent/aggressive behaviour, anxiety, suicidal ideation, depression, emotion dysregulation and attachment-related difficulties.
